The role is part time for approximately 18 hours per week, and you can do this over 2 days or more – whatever your preference. We are flexible About About the role Providing robust financial control, support and challenge as required to the Embedded Assets’ teams Analysing key financials and value drivers and providing management with timely and accurate information to enable effective decision-making Analyse key financials and value drivers and provide management with timely and accurate information to enable effective decision-making. Co-ordinate and produce overall forecasts, mid and long term plans for the business unit, ensuring appropriate levels of sign off ensuring clear explanations of variances. Ensure relevant maintenance contracts are understood from a financial perspective, ensuring we maximise value within the contract terms (whilst considering financial constraints). Establish and monitor appropriate financial controls at a business unit level to ensure the integrity of financial data. Improve on areas of deficiency identified. Requirements Job Requirements and Experience Strong financial background (ACA / CIMA / ACCA) with appropriate PQE experience, preferably within a utility/energy market business. We are able to consider those who are close to qualifying too Proactive problem solver with the ability to influence senior managers and non-finance staff Strong financial modelling skills. Ability to communicate the bigger picture in a clear, concise way to Senior stakeholders High individual responsibility, coupled with strong business partnering skills to ensure a broad range of activities are delivered on time. A good team player, who brings enthusiasm and a positive disposition to the team.
