An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic registered midwife with excellent communication and interpersonal skills who will provide safe, effective and person centred care to a designated caseload of women to join our dynamic community midwifery team.
The post holder will be responsible for providing midwifery care to women and their babies during pregnancy, home births and postnatal period, working within Best start recommendations to provide continuity of care to the women and families of the borders.
The post will be within the community setting working within the Berwickshire community midwifery team, covering Duns/Eyemouth & Kelso area but you may be required to travel to other locations to meet service demands.
Applicants must hold full driving licence and have access to a vehicle.
