Position Summary
We are now looking for an Inbound Lead Operator to work in our logistics team, ensuring that the goods-in are safely received and of suitable quality to make their way to the factory production team.
A day in the life of Inbound Goods Operator
We are looking to recruit a new Inbound Lead Operator to manage a 4-person team, reporting to the Logistics Manager.
Responsibilities
* Manage the team to work within safe conditions – compliance with safety protocols to ensure zero accidents during delivery and intake team unloading process.
* Manage the team to comply with raw material goods-in quality testing process - using various equipment and procedures to ensure suitable quality materials for production.
* Manage onsite raw material warehouse storage and hygiene standards, working with process teams on raw materials utilisation compliance (FEFO, SLED etc).
* Develop organisational capability through coaching others and sharing best practices with the teams across shifts.
* Update and documentation – systems update and filing of inbound supplier documents, standard operating procedures etc.
* Support with the unloading of deliveries, and shift cover to ensure full service to the factory.

Other key attributes we are looking for are:
* Valid Fork Lift Truck counterbalance licence essential
* Previous hands-on team leadership experience essential
* Experience within FMCG environment
* Basic computer experience essential
* Passion for people and development.
