Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available for up to 1 year. We are seeking an enthusiastic and well-organised Research Assistant to join the Faculty of Economics, University of Cambridge from mid-September 2025 and work under Professor Constantine Yannelis. The research will focus on household finance, with an emphasis on student loans and human capital, as well as work in private equity and entrepreneurship. We are looking for a highly independent Research Assistant with a track record of timely project delivery, strong communication skills and an excellent work ethic. The Research Assistant will be involved in preliminary research analysis, and will work under the supervision of Professor Yannelis. Candidates should have experience of working with large quantitative datasets and experience with Stata is preferred. Successful applicants will become an integral and valued member of a multidisciplinary group. Responsibilities of the role include helping conduct literature reviews and analysing findings. Interest in the field of financial economics is desirable; and strong statistical and quantitative skills are essential for this post. The ideal candidate would want to pursue a PhD in Economics or Finance.
