Based across South of England - Luton and London We are looking for a Learning & Development Officer (Apprenticeships) to join our wider HR team providing support to head office and operational management teams across the business. Reporting into the L&D Manager, you’ll deliver and administer training initiatives that support employee growth and organisational objectives. A key focus will be driving our early careers apprenticeships throughout all stages including managing, promoting and developing the programme. As an L&D Officer you’ll be: Managing and promoting existing apprenticeship programmes, driving employee engagement and use of our apprenticeship levy. Exploring opportunities for, designing, delivering, and managing new apprenticeship programmes to maximise early careers development opportunities Delivering online and face to face training sessions to enhance employee skills, knowledge and competency. Managing external L&D supplier/stakeholders to ensure best value is achieved. Managing all administration within our Learning Management Systems (LMS) - monitoring, maintaining, recording, and reporting. Reviewing current working practices and making recommendations for continuous improvement As an L&D Officer you’ll have: Previous experience working in a L&D / training or similar environment. Proven experience of designing, developing and managing Apprenticeship schemes is essential Excellent organisational and data capture skills with the ability to work autonomously as part of a small team. A high level of competence with Microsoft packages including Word, Excel and 365 applications including SharePoint and Power-Bi Ability to travel to regional sites when required.
