Primary Purpose: The Account Executive will support with developing and maintaining the Tapestry Marketplace channel through strategic and operational execution of product launches, driving in-season performance against sales and margin targets, and playing a key role in building and nurturing partner relationships.
The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in Online Trading to:
1. Build strong relationships with Marketplace partners across channels and Tapestry’s brands, ensuring key KPI’s are met and exceeded.
2. Drive performance against sales and margin targets and maximize in-season opportunities.
3. Support the execution of new product launches on multiple Marketplace channels.
4. Compile weekly trade reports and provide analysis to inform trading actions to fuel growth.
5. Identify regional product opportunities and market trends, providing consolidated feedback to inform seasonal and core assortment needs.
6. Build knowledge of product, consumer, and competition in local markets and provide feedback to key internal stakeholders.
7. Partner with the Inventory Management team to understand and highlight existing business risks and opportunities regarding product investments and inventory. Ensure optimal stocks are maintained in line with upcoming promotional strategies, marketing initiatives, and key trading periods.
8. Partner with Wholesale & Marketing teams to ensure optimal platform content by category and gender within global guidelines, and support effective marketing plans aligned with investment.
9. Support with maximizing product visibility onsite, e.g. building catalogue tree edit visual guides for partners.
10. Support weekly and monthly onsite execution for Marketplace site content, including homepage refreshes, category banners, navigation banners, etc.
11. Support with building communication tools to highlight assortment strategies and monthly quarterly hindsight to the business.
12. Build relationships and establish trust with regional Wholesale Sales, Buying, Finance, and Marketing teams.
13. Support the Customer Service team with specific retailer/customer queries where necessary.
The accomplished individual will possess:
1. Minimum 3 years digital trading experience (wholesale/direct retail).
2. Highly numerate with strong analytical skills and financial acumen.
3. Multi-category experience in a planning environment.
4. Knowledge of the fashion or accessories luxury goods market and Marketplace segment.
An outstanding professional will have:
1. 2+ years’ experience within a Marketplace business model.
2. Multi-category experience across Full Price, Outlet & Liquidation.
3. Experience of working within a global company/brand.
4. Creative problem solving and strategic thinking skills with strong business acumen.
5. Ability to make key decisions under pressure and deadlines.
6. Experience of building effective global partnerships and interacting successfully with diverse individuals at all levels.
7. Clear and confident presentation skills to deliver key messages to senior leadership.
