Support Worker - Day Shifts. Autism Pathways
Location: Birkenhead, Wirral
Pay Rate: £13.18 per hour
Hours: Full-time, with shift patterns of 08:00-15:00 and 15:00-22:00, plus occasional 6-hour community-based shifts
Full UK Driving License Required

The Role:
We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Support Workers to join our adult autism support team, launched last October. This role is an exciting opportunity to bring your skills to a truly personalized setting. Working within a 2:1 or 3:1 staffing ratio, you’ll follow tailored activity programs that promote residents’ independence and engagement. About the Facility:
Located in central Birkenhead, our purpose-built facility includes three adapted bungalows, each offering private, fully-equipped spaces that meet the unique needs of residents. Our facility features:
Individualized living spaces with private bedrooms, living areas, kitchens, bathrooms, and gardens
Safety enhancements such as reinforced furniture and high-tech medical monitoring where required
Separate staff areas to ensure privacy for residents and a comfortable workspace for our team
Role Requirements:
Experience in autism support, learning disabilities, complex behaviours, or elderly care
Level 2 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or willingness to complete it)
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends
A calm and understanding approach to managing challenging behaviours
