We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic communications professional to join our Strategic Communications Team. The team has a pivotal role that sits at the centre of the wider DVLA Communications Team and is responsible for planning, and guiding implementation of, plans and campaigns aligned to the agency’s strategic priorities. You will work closely with colleagues in our internal, marketing, digital, press and creative teams, to deliver campaigns and find innovative ways of reaching target audiences.
Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:
* Working closely with DVLA Communications Team to design high level communication plans.
* Developing a strong understanding of audience insights and how these can drive behaviour change.
* Advising and assuring internal stakeholders on progress of each communications programme.
* Identifying opportunities for delivering programme messages across DfT and wider government.
* Supporting the ongoing evaluation of progress against communications objectives to ensure messages are understood.
