Voids Surveyor
Location: Berkshire (with flexible working options)
Rate: up to £30/hour via Umbrella
Contract Type: Temporary, 3 month initial duration (extensions possible)

Our client is a forward-thinking provider of social housing committed to providing high-quality homes and services to our residents. We are seeking a skilled Voids Surveyor to join our client's dynamic team in Berkshire.
The Role As a Voids Surveyor, you will play a critical role in ensuring our properties are brought back into use efficiently and cost-effectively. Your responsibilities will include:
Conducting inspections of void properties to identify necessary repairs and improvements.
Preparing detailed schedules of work and specifications for contractors.
Overseeing the delivery of void works, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
Collaborating with contractors and internal teams to minimise void turnaround times.
Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and housing standards.
Providing regular updates and reports on void progress and performance. What We’re Looking For To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
Proven experience in surveying, with a strong focus on voids and property maintenance.
A relevant qualification in surveying, building, or construction (e.g., HNC, HND, or degree).
Knowledge of housing regulations, building standards, and health and safety requirements.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
The ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
