Aspire People are currently recruiting for a KS1/KS2 teacher to work at a school based in Redditch, this role is for an asap start.
The school is looking for a KS1/KS2 Teacher who wants a new challenge working as part of a supportive team who share planning. They are seeking a teacher available for a September start to cover a maternity leave contract with the option to work in any year group.
The school has average EAL and SEND needs for the geographic area and provides additional support for these students both within the classroom with 1:1 support and extended resources within the school. The school has good transport links and is a first school, therefore, finishes at Year 4.
The school is passionate about their students and is always keen to work with innovative staff who can bring a fresh perspective to the team. Feedback from staff currently working within this setting is very good; staff comment on how friendly and welcoming the staff are and how they feel listened to when they offer suggestions and new strategies.

As a full-time teacher, the school will expect you to essentially be a permanent member of staff, so the following is expected:
1. Teach KS1 curriculum.
2. Assess, mark and plan lessons.
3. Assess achievements of pupils.
4. Provide progress reports and attend parent's evenings & department meetings.
