Location: Clayton Park bakery, Unit 20, Petre Road, Clayton Le Moors, BB5 5JB
Salary: £11.48 p/h

We also supply to over 300 customers through our van sales and as members of the James Hall & Co. family, our products are in over 400 SPAR stores across the north of England.

About the Role
Working in the manufacturing department producing our savoury products, you’ll get hands-on experience alongside the Warehouse/Stores Manager. You’ll cover their duties while they’re on leave and help out in production when needed. You’ll also follow Health and Food Safety guidelines and handle any Quality & Technical audit tasks.
Here is What You Can Expect to be Doing
1. Working with the Warehouse and Production Manager on weekly stock checks and organising freezer and fridge stock.
2. Quality checking raw products and updating goods in/out using our computer system.
3. Recording and reducing waste and improving recycling.
4. Maintaining Food Safety and Hygiene standards.
5. Supporting production needs at our neighbouring bakery in Huncoat.
6. Making sure stock is ordered as needed.
7. Following all Health and Safety regulations.
8. Helping out in production as required.

9. To be a positive and organised individual
10. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
11. To be enthusiastic, committed and self-motivated
12. Experience of working within a similar role is desirable
13. Forklift Truck (FLT) experience or previous license.
14. Knowledge of Food Safety and Quality Hygiene standards.
15. Ability to work in a safe manner and consider the safety of others
16. Reliability – supplying to other departments and sites
17. Trustworthiness – able to work independently or as part of a team.
18. Willing to work a flexible shift pattern which would include bank holidays
