Deputises where required and in partnership with management ensures appropriate cover for all teams is available and any issues are resolved on a timely basis and in accordance with company procedures What qualifications and experience are we looking for in our Senior Transport Supervisor? Extensive knowledge and application of driving-related legislation and associated guidance Proven experience of leading a team, preferably in a customer-facing environment. Experience in supervising the work of others and adopting a coaching approach to improve performance IT literate in Microsoft Office packages and have the ability to compile, analyse and interpret relevant data What skills are we looking for in our Senior Transport Supervisor? Ability to use initiative and organise their work so that key tasks can be completed fully and on time. Ability to work to fluid targets and deadlines Proven verbal, written communication and presentation skills High attention to detail and confident to challenge discrepancies where necessary in the right manner and on a timely basis Ability to act with sensitivity and influence others to take a particular course of action Capable of remaining calm under pressure and be able to deal with difficult conversations.
