This role can be based at one of our offices in either Barnstaple or Tiverton; an element of travel will be required.

Main duties of the role:
1. Assist in developing project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and deliverables.
2. Coordinate project kick-off meetings, ensuring all stakeholders understand objectives and responsibilities.
3. Maintain project schedules, tracking milestones, deadlines, and dependencies.
4. Act as the central point of contact for project teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
5. Schedule and organise meetings, preparing agendas, and documenting key actions and decisions.
6. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and address issues promptly.
7. Maintain accurate project documentation, including plans, reports, risk logs, and change requests.
8. Track and report on project progress, highlighting risks, delays, or issues to project managers.
9. Prepare and distribute project status reports to relevant stakeholders.
10. Assist in tracking project budgets and resources, ensuring projects remain within agreed limits.
11. Coordinate procurement of materials, equipment, or services required for project delivery.
12. Identify potential project risks and assist in developing mitigation plans.
13. Support the resolution of project issues, escalating them to project managers or senior stakeholders when necessary.
14. Contribute to the development of standardised processes and templates to improve project delivery efficiency.
15. Gather feedback from project teams to identify opportunities for improvement.
Key Skills & Attributes:
1. Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
3. Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Trello, or similar).
4. Attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining project documentation.
5. Problem-solving mindset, with the ability to anticipate and address potential challenges.
6. Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) is an advantage.
Prior experience in a project coordination or support role is preferred. Interviews for this position will commence early January 2025.
