The role involves maintaining, expanding, and developing partnerships across Yorkshire, providing support to bathing water managers, corporate affairs, and communications teams. It requires influencing wider partners and stakeholders to identify and secure additional funding opportunities, benefiting both customers and the environment. The role also includes providing technical coordination and support to bathing water partnerships, ensuring governance of meetings, and recording actions. Additionally, it supports project delivery by working with internal and external stakeholders across the region, including data sharing agreements, community engagement, and CPT participation. The individual must be self-motivated, supporting portfolio managers and senior portfolio managers, as well as key members of partnership organizations, to progress projects and opportunities. Finally, the role ensures that key learnings and best practices from existing partnerships are documented, utilized, and shared. Where you fit in: As our Bathing Water Partnership Officer you will To provide engagement and technical support to key existing and emerging strategic partnerships and projects. To deliver partnership projects with internal and external stakeholders and to ensure core team collaborative working on all projects. To identify, develop and support the administration of external funding sources and additional partnership opportunities to help YW achieve its corporate goals. To provide governance support including data sharing agreements, partnership KPI data management and partnership board / steering group meeting support. Utilising the Partnership Opportunities Platform (POP) to support partnership (inc. Yorkshire Water) investment during AMP8, championing nature first solutions and wider benefits as a key priority. To provide community engagement support to key existing and emerging strategic partnerships and project. To support the documentation of key partnership working - principles, best practice document and strategies. What skills & qualifications you will need: Degree in a relevant discipline and/or at least 5 years previous relevant experience Working in a regulated environment A sound understanding of bathing water quality, Effectively develop and maintain internal and external relationships. Experience in Blue/Green solutions and SuDS principles aswell and experience in capital delivery of traditional schemes. Project management skills Strong influencing and communication skills with proven ability to manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Experience in cost benefit analysis and funding applications and proposals.
