Job summary We are a small, friendly and diverse team who welcome applicants to join us in our endoscopy department. We are looking for a friendly and committed registered nurse to join the team. We are a fully JAG accredited department with 3 procedure rooms here at Airedale General Hospital, where we offer diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy, including deep sedation, anaesthetic supported lists. We also offer bronchoscopy, ERCP, and Bowel Cancer Screening. As a nurse within the endoscopy unit you will also support cystoscopy procedures within our urology investigations unit. Main duties of the job You will be part of the team supporting patients during their procedure and recovery, admission and discharge, offering advice and guidance, health promotion and supporting patients with potential cancer diagnosis. We offer Monday-Friday service within which working hours are 08.00- 18.00. We also provide an out of hours on-call service during the night and at weekends.
