About the Role: In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day to day running of the warehouse - ensuring kit is maintained correctly and prepped in time for projects. You will also ensure health and safety and quality processes are followed. You will be equally confident managing the warehouse team and delegating tasks as necessary, whilst also being happy to be hands on yourself to ensure all work is completed as required and in a timely manner. Ideally you would be currently working in a similar role or have done so previously. The role may also suit someone looking to take a step up from your current role, providing you can demonstrate experience of the supervisory elements. Ideally you will have experience of working in a technical production company and/or audio-visual experience. Alternatively experience of working in a similar warehouse environment (hiring equipment that is despatched and returned) would be an advantage. Why join us? Benefits: Basic salary £28,000-£35,000 depending on experience Company pension scheme Bonus scheme 33 days holiday including bank holidays Birthday annual leave day Lunch allowance Key Responsibilities: Overseeing the day to day running of the warehouse ensuring it is kept clean and tidy, daily and weekly checklists are completed and tasks are assigned to the team and completed Overseeing equipment management ensuring all kit is prepped in a timely manner ready to be sent out on jobs and assisting with this as required. When the equipment returns you will ensure it is de-prepped and stored back away Ensuring regular service, maintenance, and repairs of equipment - following a testing process to ensure all kit is working properly and ready to be sent out, flagging any repairs that need to be done Overseeing warehouse health & safety processes and ensuring all necessary H&S procedures are implemented and adhered to Managing warehouse team including regular reviews, identifying training needs and ensuring warehouse is adequately staffed as needed Supervising the loading and unloading of vans and trucks including supervision of local crew if they are being used Essential Skills & Requirements: Experience in managing/supervising warehouse processes and operations Experience of using Stock Management Systems Line management experience Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail Positive can-do attitude Ability to work as part of a team and independently Good time management skills Thrives under pressure and able to adjust to competing/changing priorities as necessary Ability to learn quickly and think on your feet Clean full UK driving licence Previous experience of working in a technical production company and/or with audio-visual equipment would be useful, but not essential
