Key Responsibilities
* Engage with banks, councils, solicitors, the police, and other institutions to locate assets and financial records.
* Obtain valuations of properties, vehicles, investments, and other estate assets for probate purposes.
* Request and review financial documents to build a clear picture of an estate's assets and liabilities.
* Liaise with legal and financial professionals to ensure compliance with probate requirements.
* Manage correspondence and maintain accurate records, ensuring all documentation is organized and up to date.
* Coordinate with external services such as estate agents, valuers, and auction houses to arrange valuations and asset sales where necessary.
* Ensure probate applications are submitted correctly and all legal obligations are met in a timely manner.
What We're Looking For
* Experience in probate, financial services, legal administration, or asset management is beneficial but not essential.
* Strong communication skills with the confidence to engage with banks, councils, solicitors, and other professionals.
* Excellent organisational and time-management abilities to handle multiple cases efficiently.
* A keen eye for detail and the ability to analyse financial information.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
* A proactive and professional approach to problem-solving.
