Team Leader – HR Service Centre
Locations: This is a hydrid position (2 days per week on site) and can be based on-site in Peterborough, Sunderland, Tunbridge Wells, Haywards Heath or Chesterfield in our MSG office.

Your Role
As the Team Leader, you'll report to the HR Operations Manager and manage a team of HR Assistants based in various offices. Your mission is to ensure seamless HR operations, compliance with processes, and effectively manage HR projects
Responsibilities
1. Day to day management of a team of HR Assistants
2. You’ll be leading, motivating, and developing a team to perform and achieve target performance.
3. Workload and resource prioritisation and planning
4. Ensuring compliance with process and agreed SLAs
5. Supporting the HR Operations Manager with overall team management and strategy
6. Driving and implementing change including process improvements and automation
7. Supporting the ER and HR Business Partner community with tasks being routed to the HR Service Centre
8. Monitoring and managing HR processing with the payroll team
9. Working closely with other Team Leaders to balance the workload effectively
10. Leading the team with project based tasks
11. Review HR process guides and ensure they are regularly updated
12. Undertake regular performance reviews with team members against key targets and objectives in order to identify business and personal developmental needs
13. Adhere to FCA and Data Protection Regulations
Experience :
14. Strong demonstrable people management skills
15. Well organised with a keen eye for detail
16. Experience of working in a high pressure fast-paced environment
17. Demonstrates ability to prioritise workflow volumes
18. HR project experience
19. Good computer skills to include Microsoft Office
20. A good understanding of HR processes and procedures would be advantageous
21. Ability to present projects and information clearly and concisely
22. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
23. Experience of managing when things are changed or required at short notice
24. Ability to coach & communicate across the department and business
