To support our progress, we are currently recruiting for a Channel Marketing Lead – Specification Marketing (Construction & Building Products) to come and join our team at our Head Office in Ibstock, LE67 6HS Hybrid working 3 days per week office based. Frequent travel to London to connect with Ibstock Futures and Ibstock Specification Team colleagues / customers (approximately 1 day per week) Reports To: Head of Marketing Communications & Brand Department: Marketing Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and strategic Channel Marketing Manager to lead our specification marketing efforts within the construction and building products industry. This role will be responsible for developing and executing targeted marketing programs to engage and support architects, specifiers, main contractors and design professionals in the specification process. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the construction industry, the specification process, and how to position products to drive demand and increase specification rates. Key Responsibilities: · Develop and execute strategic marketing programs to drive product specification among architects, specifiers, and design professionals. · Work closely with sales, product management, and business development teams to align marketing strategies with key business objectives. · Create compelling content, technical resources, and tools to educate and support specifiers in selecting our products. · Manage and optimise digital and traditional marketing campaigns targeting specification professionals. · Build and nurture relationships with key industry associations, architectural firms, and specification consultants. · Develop and manage continuing education programs (CEUs) to increase brand awareness and industry engagement. · Leverage CRM and marketing automation tools to track engagement and improve conversion rates in the specification pipeline. · Collaborate with channel partners to ensure alignment on messaging, training, and marketing initiatives · Analyse market trends, competitive landscape, and customer insights to refine marketing strategies. · Monitor and report on the effectiveness of specification marketing initiatives, making data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement. Qualifications: · Degree in Marketing, Business, Construction Management, or a related field (preferable). · Experience of B2B marketing, with a focus on specification marketing or the construction/building products industry. · Strong understanding of the architectural and specification process · Experience in developing technical marketing materials, product guides, and educational content. · Understanding of CRM systems, marketing automation tools, and digital marketing strategies. · Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage and influence key stakeholders. · Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines. · Knowledge of industry standards, building codes, and sustainable design trends is a plus.
