Role Summary
Operational Management is looking for an Administration Support Secretary to provide comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to the Women’s & Children’s Care Group across both North and Eastern services. The postholder will be based at North Devon District Hospital and will support the Midwifery team in the Ladywell Unit as well as helping to monitor the Women’s & Children’s Care Group in-box, dealing with a varied range of tasks on a daily basis.
About the Role
This post will give the successful candidate a good grounding in office administration (including electronic diary management, taking accurate telephone messages, dealing with queries where appropriate, arranging meetings and venues, preparation of meeting papers, and taking minutes) and will be given training in the use of a range of IT applications.
We are looking for a friendly, approachable and hard-working individual who will be able to work in an office environment with frequent interruptions, deal with a varied range of tasks on a daily basis, and have a good understanding of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.
Working Pattern: 26 hours per week, Monday to Thursday.
