The Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Finance Director to join our leadership team. Reporting directly to the Group CFO, you will play a pivotal role in driving the financial strategy and performance of the business. Your primary responsibilities will include leading the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and reporting/technical accounting functions, as well as managing and developing a team of 4 direct reports and overseeing a wider team of 10. · Lead and manage the FP&A and reporting/technical accounting functions to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. · Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's growth and exit plans. · Provide commercial insights and financial analysis to drive business performance and decision-making. · Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards. · Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute the company’s strategic initiatives. · Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes. · Mentor and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement. The Requirements: · Professional finance qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA). · Proven experience in a senior finance role within a private equity-backed business. · Strong technical accounting skills and commercial acumen. · Demonstrable experience in leading FP&A and reporting functions. · Exceptional leadership and team management skills. · Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. · Based in London or West Sussex with the ability to work from the West Sussex office at least 2 days a week.
