Job Description:
Lidl GB is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Customs Classification Administrator to join our busy and exciting Customs department.
This role offers a fantastic opportunity for career progression and development, with in-depth training provided and the chance to gain accredited certifications up to Postgraduate level.
The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting detailed information from various sources to enable classification, performing and reviewing classifications, and investigating trade agreements and import requirements.
You will also improve and maintain our classification log, create process flow charts and info guides, communicate with external and internal stakeholders, and transfer technical Customs knowledge to the operational business.
We are looking for someone with prior experience in the Customs landscape, an understanding of Import and Export Customs procedures, and working knowledge of the UK Tariff Schedule and General Rules of Interpretation (GRI) and Explanatory Notes.
