Mortgage Product Manager
Are you an experienced and passionate Mortgage Product Manager seeking an opportunity to make a significant impact within a growing business? Dudley Building Society is actively seeking a talented individual to help us grow our specialist mortgage book. Working within our product team, you will be liaising with different areas of the business to design and develop mortgage products that meet our customers needs and help us achieve our corporate plan.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Proposition Development: Own the development of our mortgage proposition, recommending the launch of new products and enhanced criteria, in line with the Society's strategy and risk appetite.
Pricing Agility: Ensure our mortgage and retention products are priced to achieve the Society's financial objectives, meeting Corporate Plan income and margin expectations.
Product Management: While managing our Product Specialist, develop our product processes and systems to improve our agility to make changes to our products and pricing in line with customer and market needs.
Customer Value: Ensure our mortgage products meet Customer and Broker needs and provide fair value to customers.
MI & Reporting: Oversee the development of timely and insightful product MI and market analysis, to track our mortgage performance and recommend new market opportunities.
Product Governance: Ensure our mortgage products are managing in line with our product policy regularly reviewed under the Society's Consumer Duty framework.
Relationship Management: Build strong relationships both inside and outside of the Society to deliver the smooth running of our Mortgage products and growth of our portfolio.
What we're looking for:
Proven experience growing a specialist mortgage book with a Building Society or specialist lender
Great understanding of the specialist mortgage market and experience in the development of new products and bringing these to market
Ability to lead and develop a small team to deliver great outcomes in an agile way
Strong stakeholder management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organisation and planning skills.
Strong numerical skillset: ability to understand the commercial impact of repricing our mortgage products and to track and analyse their performance in the market.
