Digital Communications Manager Location: Croydon £37,338 - £44,962 per annum Department: Communications Reports To: Head of Communications Job Summary: We are looking for a talented and creative Digital Communications Manager to join our client's Communications team. This role will involve managing and producing high-quality digital content for our website, intranet, and social media platforms, as well as leading digital communication campaigns that support the Trust’s objectives. As the digital communications specialist, you will play a crucial role in engaging our audiences, enhancing the Trust’s online presence, and ensuring that all content aligns with our corporate brand guidelines. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong content creation skills, experience in video production, and a flair for creativity. You will have the chance to make a real impact across both internal and external digital communications, while managing digital projects and working closely with a wide range of stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Digital Communications Leadership: Provide expert advice on digital communications, leading the development and execution of the Trust's digital strategy. Content Creation & Management: Create, develop, and manage content for the Trust’s website, intranet, and social media channels, ensuring content is engaging, accurate, and aligned with the Trust’s objectives. Video Production: Lead the creation of video materials for digital campaigns and other Trust communications, including filming, editing, and distribution. Web Development: Project manage the design and development of the Trust’s internal and external websites, ensuring they are user-friendly, up-to-date, and accessible. Staff Training & Support: Provide training and guidance to staff on how to upload and manage their own content on digital platforms. Social Media Strategy: Manage and monitor the Trust’s social media presence, creating engaging content and tracking the success of campaigns across various platforms. Photography & Event Coverage: Lead on photography and the live-streaming of key Trust events, ensuring high-quality content for digital distribution. Brand Consistency: Ensure all digital content adheres to the Trust’s corporate brand guidelines to maintain a consistent online presence. Graphic Design: Create custom graphics for digital content and internal/external marketing materials, ensuring a professional and cohesive visual identity. Digital Screens Management: Create and update content for public-facing digital information screens and staff-facing screensavers. Person Specification: Essential Qualifications and Experience: Proven experience in digital communications and content creation for websites, intranets, and social media platforms. Strong skills in using content management systems (CMS) and experience in video filming and editing. Ability to develop creative and engaging digital content that resonates with target audiences. Experience in managing digital projects, including website development and social media campaigns. Strong writing, editing, and communication skills with excellent attention to detail. Proficient in social media strategy and management, with a solid understanding of audience engagement. Ability to create graphics and design elements for online and print materials. Desirable Attributes: Experience in media relations or working within an on-call communications rota. Familiarity with web analytics tools to track and report on performance metrics. Knowledge of design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) for creating custom graphics. Experience in live-streaming events and digital media management.
