Legal Cashier – Solihull
Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum

Are you an experienced Legal Cashier looking for a new opportunity to grow your career? Our client, a highly regarded regional law firm based in Solihull, is seeking a proactive and skilled Legal Cashier to join their Finance team.
This full-time, office-based role offers a salary of up to £35,000 per annum. Candidates must hold a valid driver’s license and have access to their own vehicle, as occasional travel to other offices may be required.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supporting the operation of the firm’s accounting system.
* Ensuring all banking is completed daily.
* Producing reconciliations.
* Posting entries to the accounts and case management systems.
* Raising private client invoices and producing client-to-office transfer paperwork.
* Handling Legal Aid invoices and processing monthly billing submissions.
* Managing purchase invoices efficiently.
* Handling client payments, including processing card payments.
* Assisting in file archiving.
* Supporting the credit control system.
* Liaising with the IT department to resolve staff queries and set up accounts.
* Performing other ad hoc tasks as required.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have:
* A minimum of 3 years of practical accounting experience, preferably within the legal sector.
* Experience with purchase and sales ledgers.
* Basic Excel knowledge and strong computer skills.
* Exceptional attention to detail.
* The ability to manage their workload effectively with minimal supervision.
