Project Manager Required in Northamptonshire
GVR Solutions are currently working with an existing client of ours who are a specialist drylining contractor based in Northamptonshire. They are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their well-established drylining team.
Specific Responsibilities:
1. Assist the Managing Director with business tasks and procedures implementation.
2. Provide assistance in planning/programming and monitoring the status of key projects.
3. Produce monthly Project Reports drawing upon inputs from other staff and present to Managing Director identifying key risks, actions, and decisions.
4. Manage day-to-day operational aspects of the project(s).
5. Competent in required project methodology.
6. Ensure project documents are complete, current, and appropriately stored on SharePoint.
7. Establish on MD's behalf and agree Project Objectives with Key Stakeholders.
8. Work with the project team to devise strategies for eliminating/minimizing the risks of achieving the project objectives and report to MD.
9. Create a strategic programme for each project showing critical path and key dependencies.
Required Skills / Experience:
1. Ideally qualified to degree level in a construction-based discipline.
2. Previous project experience in the residential/care home sectors.
3. Ideally 3 years post-graduation experience.
4. Solid all-round knowledge of the construction process with previous experience of drylining.
