Sopra Steria's Aerospace Defence and Security Sector are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic Senior Network Architect with a passion for Cryptography to join a growing team working on a truly unique project. You will be responsible for the design and implementation of sophisticated end-to-end Networking solutions that align with the technical architecture strategy of the wider team. This role will be hybrid with most of your time spent working from home, however, there will be weekly travel to the office in Farnborough so relative locality to this location is ideal.

What you'll be doing:
* Create and implement end-to-end solution and technical designs that align with strategic technical architecture.
* Demonstrate expertise in network architecture principles and emerging technologies.
* Make sure the solution and design process is followed during every phase of project delivery.
* Provide domain expertise to supplement internal skills, particularly when exploring new technologies.
* Collaborate with Solution Leads to design security architecture elements that address identified risks.
What you’ll bring:
* Core Networking Knowledge: Solid understanding of networking products from Dell (DC Switching), Cisco (Routing) and F5 Load Balancers, including their functional and non-functional aspects including a proven track record in scaling and securing them.
* Experience of Cisco Collaboration products and technologies, including CUCM, IM&P, Meeting Place & Jabber and VC end points.
* Automation and Orchestration: Some experience with network orchestration and automation, with a keen interest in developing these skills further.
* Knowledge with HMG cryptographic products is desirable, including designs, scalability, interoperability and processes (e.g., Cryptographic Management Plan)
It would be great if you had:
* Understanding of security technologies such as SIEM, IDS, IPS, 802.1x, web proxy, and content inspection.
* Zero Trust Architecture and Cross domain solutions patterns and products.

Salary: Up to £100,000
