* Maintenance and repair of mechanical systems and equipment
* Regular checks on machinery to ensure optimal operation
* Responding promptly to machinery breakdowns
* Identifying and resolving mechanical issues
* Assisting in the installation of new machinery and equipment
* Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
* Keeping detailed records of work performed and machinery status
* Collaborating with the wider engineering team to meet department objectives
The Successful Applicant
A successful 'Mechanical Fitter' should have:
* A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
* Excellent knowledge of mechanical systems and machinery
