Your first project:
We are looking for a Project Site Manager to oversee civil works on a Solar Park project near Abergavenny. This role involves overseeing key site operations, including road construction (cut and fill), drainage works, and small-scale civil engineering tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Information management
2. Design and client liaison
3. Logistics planning
4. Materials ordering
5. Working planning
6. Managing a small team with approximately 20 workers and support staff (some remote)
7. Work allocation
8. Variation tracking
9. Checking measurements, testing and samples
10. Completing quality inspections (ITP)
11. Checking progress and internal reporting
About you:
1. Experience of managing groundworks/civils projects
2. Understanding CDM requirements
3. Understanding ITP requirements
4. Following contract and programme
5. Experience of interpreting design information
6. Experience of collecting quality assurance information
7. Effective communication skills - written and oral
8. Good computer skills
9. Good interpersonal skills
