About the Role:
Supply Desk is seeking a skilled and motivated Year 6 Teacher to work with a reputable primary school in High Wycombe. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated teacher to support students through a pivotal academic year, preparing them for their transition to secondary school. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Year 6 curriculum and be passionate about helping students achieve their potential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Year 6 curriculum, ensuring all students are well-prepared for SATs.
* Use a variety of teaching methods to support different learning styles and abilities, ensuring every student has the opportunity to succeed.
* Monitor and assess students progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes students confidence and engagement.
* Work closely with other staff members to support students learning and contribute to the school s goals.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with experience teaching Year 6.
* A strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum and SATs preparation.
* Excellent classroom management skills and a commitment to maintaining high standards of behavior.
* Effective communication skills and a collaborative approach to teaching.
