An exciting opportunity has arisen in a well-established and market leading company within the Construction Sector. The company head office is in LS12 They are looking for a Finance Officer to join their close knit and friendly Finance Team to support the Head of Finance with the monthly accounts.
This role will be perfect if you thrive in a role where no two days are the same, this is a fast paced and varied role where you will take ownership of processes and contribute towards delivering a seamless month end. This role will include the following duties:
Sales ledger – allocation of payments, raising statements and reconciling payments
Credit Control – chasing outstanding payment
Purchase ledger, raising and processing invoices
Statement and bank reconciliations
VAT returns
Month end duties to support the Head of Finance
Handling customer and supplier queries
Cash reconciliations
Payroll
Key skills for the role
Able to work to deadlines and work with accuracy
Experienced in a similar all round position
SME company experience
Strong general IT and MS Excel capabilities
