We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential & commercial settings. You will be responsible for ensuring that all plumbing systems operate efficiently and comply with safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Install, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures in commercial and residential structures.
* Inspect plumbing systems and identify issues, such as leaks or blockages.
* Interpret plans and building specifications to map layout for pipes, drainage systems, and other plumbing materials.
* Perform routine maintenance of plumbing systems to prevent future problems.
* Respond to, diagnose, and resolve plumbing emergencies.
* Collaborate with our kitchen designers & fitters, contractors, builders, electricians, and other professionals on plumbing installations.
* Keep accurate records of time spent working, description of work performed, and materials used.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a plumber.
* Solid understanding of water distribution and disposal systems in residential & commercial buildings.
* Working knowledge of heating and ventilation systems as well as appliances.
* Ability to handle plumbing tools and equipment (pipe wrenches, pipe cutters, plungers, etc.).
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Friendly with a great deal of patience.
* Good physical condition and strength with the ability to work in awkward spaces.
* High school diploma or equivalent; a certificate in plumbing from a vocational school or completion of an apprenticeship is a plus.
* Valid drivers license.
