Job Title: Children’s Residential Support Worker
Location: Crawley
Salary: £26,364 - £27,783 per year PLUS additional £3,000-£6,000 per year for sleep-ins
Hours: Full-time, 39 hours per week working a rolling shift pattern, 2 on 4 off.
We are looking for a children's support worker to become part of our loving family home, caring for younger children who have emotional and behavioural difficulties or are diagnosed with Learning disabilities, Autism, and ADHD. You would provide encouragement and praise, be patient and understanding during times of crisis, and inspire them to grow and develop.
The role can be emotionally challenging, but you could be the person to change a child's life for the better.

What does the job involve?

What do you need?
* People who are naturally caring, flexible, and resilient.
* Passionate about supporting children to lead happy lives.
* Great communication skills, positive and energetic.
* Experience in care or transferable skills such as children's nursery, education, sports, or working with vulnerable people is beneficial but not essential.
* Ability to remain calm during challenging situations.
* Full UK Driving licence is beneficial.
* Ability to work flexibly in caring for the children, including shifts and sleep-ins.
