About the role
We are pleased to be recruiting for a Branch Sales Manager to lead the Plumbing & Heating division at our brand-new Wynyard branch, opening Summer 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with proven management from a sales environment with appropriate knowledge of the P&H range of products, wanting to enhance their career and development. Managing a wide range of customer demands you will strive to deliver a first-class customer experience.
Working closely with the team you will demonstrate your ability to drive sales whilst building strong working relationships with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Key skills & responsibilities include
* Working closely with the team to motivate, maintain discipline and manage branch staff.
* Ensuring that the branch strives to deliver a first-class customer experience and service is maintained to the highest level.
* Attending relevant meetings.
* Accepting and delegating authority as required.
* Having awareness of customer base potential and activity within the trading area of the branch.
* Controlling the purchase of stock within agreed budgets keeping up-to-date with new products and market trends.
* The ability to be adaptable, resilient and able to respond to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Hours of work are Monday to Friday 07.30am to 5.00pm plus alternate Saturdays 08.00am to 12.00pm.
