Spatial Data Analyst
Salary £52,000 - £58,000 depending on relevant skills, experience and location (location weighting may apply), 10% annual bonus potential with 25 days annual leave, plus bank holidays, increasing to 27.5 days after 10 years service and a company pension scheme with highly competitive contribution rates

This is a Hybrid Working role with a requirement to regularly attend our London Farringdon office, with flexibility required in line with business needs.

As a Spatial Data Analyst, you will contribute to our parcel locker site identification and evaluation with ongoing performance management through advanced data analysis techniques. Your work will be instrumental in not only expanding our presence, but also driving strategic growth for the company.

About the role
• Use and interrogate geospatial and other tools to make recommendations on suitable locations to target for lockers or to avoid
• Undertake land registry checks to ensure that lockers are placed within the demise of prospective hosts
• Analysis of the performance of every locker in the network, including production of reports to inform decisions about locker extensions or churn, or operations collection requirements
• Analyse and present as required on key information on the make-up of the Royal Mail locker estate, including the sector of the host
• Analyse and monitor the performance against target of the Site Acquisition team
• Ensure that we have a complete repository of electronic copies of signed contracts, and ensure that key data is extracted from them so that we act on renewals in a timely fashion
• Ensure that hosts and any other organisations we work with to source locations are paid correctly and on time, in accordance with their individual terms, and that our expenditure is monitored. Use information on typical costs to inform annual budget setting
About you
To truly excel in the role, you will posses the necessary skills and experience listed below –
Key Skills
• Previous experience of Data Analysis
• Highly proficient in use of Excel
• Proficient in the use of self-serve data mining/SQL
• Proficient in the use of Qlik/Looker
• Good understanding of geographical/mapping programs and CRM tools such as Pipedrive an advantage
• Good understanding of SAP
• Highly skilled at organising data suitable for presenting to senior audiences, and confident at presenting
• Strong numeracy, analytical and communication skills
• Ability to cope under pressure within a very fast paced business unit
Qualifications
• Educated to degree level in a subject requiring analysis of numeric or geographical data and/or relevant skills/experience
• Minimum: GCSE English Language and GCSE Maths (at Grade C / 5 or above)
