Main duties of the job The post holder is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of evidenced-based nursing care for patients receiving haemodialysis, haemofiltration or plasma exchange. The post holder is expected to work collaboratively and cooperatively with others to meet the needs of patients and their families. Assist in the management and organisation of their clinical area and participating in the education, development and supervision of other junior staff members. The post holder will be expected to take part in the renal rotation programme between the renal inpatient ward and specialist nurses to develop and increase knowledge and skills in renal nursing. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
