Spirehouse are currently supporting a West Midlands based Housing Association in need of a Resident and Community Engagement Officer.\n\nThe Opportunity:\n\nMy client in the West Midlands is seeking an experienced resident and community engagement officer on a permanent basis. You will provide a responsive and effective service to influence, engage, listen and assist in activities relating to residents and wider community engagement.\n\nThe successful candidate will:\n\n * Adopt an objective and proactive approach to all Resident Engagement, Complaints, Investigations and Safeguarding cases\n\n * To ensure prompt and appropriate responses and resolutions to meet the needs of our residents whilst adhering to regulatory standards\n\n * Signpost residents to external support services where appropriate\n\n * Facilitate and coordinate with other departments as required to resolve any issues arising\n\n * Assist in developing and maintaining key relationships with partners\n\n * Ensuring that all regulatory and consumer standards are met at all times\n\n * Monitor, collate and assist with the production of reports for the Customer Committee as required.\n\n * Receive and process queries by multiple means e.g., telephone/email and in-person\n\n * To be responsive to customer and business needs\n\nFurther information:\n\n * Interviews to commence 5th May\n\n * Permanent Position\n\n * £28,350 - £33,600 (Dependant on experience)\n\n * Full-time working pattern – 37 hours\n\n * Hybrid (A.M meets in Head Office X2 per week) The rest shall be out in the community\n\nRequirements:\n\n * Full UK driver's licence with access to a vehicle\n\n * Must have similar experience within a Social Housing setting\n\nPlease apply for this role online or contact Kim Parsons at Spirehouse for a confidential discussion.\n\nSpirehouse Recruitment is an equal opportunities employment business and employment agency.
