Purchasing Administrator

We are looking for someone who has 1 year of Customer Service or Administration experience.
The Role
1. Responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing stock from both local and overseas suppliers.
2. Daily planning, issuing, and following up on purchase orders including delivery and shipment schedules.
3. Providing regular updates to internal teams of expected delivery dates of stock to ensure customer satisfaction.
4. Adding new part codes and prices to the system.
5. Managing purchasing inbox ensuring all emails are dealt with.
6. Updating and maintaining Supplier reports that need generating to specific deadlines.
7. Daily communication and updates with Suppliers to create strong working relationships.
About You
1. A minimum of 1 year of Administrative or Customer Service experience.
2. Previous experience within a similar order processing role would be an advantage.
3. Professional and confident.
4. Excellent telephone manner.
5. Great communication skills, both written and verbal.
6. Computer literate.
