Our client, Stoke-on-Trent Council, is seeking a Social Worker for its Leaving Care service.
The pay rate is £33.30 umbrella.
Details of the role involve:
* This is an exciting opportunity for a Social Worker to join our Leaving Care Service, known as the Next Steps Team.
* You will play an important part in our continuing commitment to achieve the best possible outcomes for all our care leavers and will have the opportunity to lead the Pathway Planning process and support our children and young people to aim higher and achieve their aspirations.
* You will need knowledge and understanding of the duties placed on the Local Authority for cared-for children and care leavers and you will have a comprehensive understanding of care and pathway planning processes in supporting young people to make a successful transition to adult life.
* You will also have the knowledge and understanding in delivering high-quality support, advice, and guidance in line with corporate parenting.
Requirements of the role:
* Qualified Social Worker
* Fully Social Work England registered
* Must have significant experience in children’s social care with a specialism in Leaving Care / Corporate Parenting
