Your new company
A leading FMCG organisation based in Ayrshire is looking for an Accounts Assistant. This role is a 6-month contract. The role is office based with the company looking for someone to start immediately. The hours of work will be Monday – Friday, 9am to 5pm.
Your new role
In your new role, you will be expected to process purchase invoices in the accounting system, ensuring 3-way matching electronically.
You will also be expected to register and respond to queries dealing with the team as well as dealing with supplier reconciliations. There will also be other general accounts administration and mailbox management.
What you’ll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate competency in the use of computers with the ability to process high volumes accurately, having had experience in a similar environment. There will also be a need to have a strong can-do attitude and the ability to communicate with others in the team clearly and concisely. Additionally, you will need to be highly organised and have excellent attention to detail with the ability to prioritise effectively.
