The Role
The Purpose of the Role:
* Develop the facilities maintenance regime for the sites across the business, including all hard and soft services. Developing detailed building maintenance best practices.
* Support FM Helpdesk and Stores in managing all aspects of repairs and maintenance issues.
* Manage contractors and jobs through to completion.
* Ensure planned maintenance works are completed.
* Support all team members where necessary.
* Deal with escalation queries from Helpdesk, stores and contractors.
* Competently identify and diagnose maintenance issues to ensure the correct contractor is assigned and all works are being identified correctly.
* Liaising with both external contractors and stores to make sure maintenance issues are completed to a good standard.
* Ensuring that all accompanying paperwork is suitably processed including sense checking and processing of invoices.
The Person
Key Requirements:
* Experience in a customer service role with excellent telephone manner and communication skills.
* Needs to be able to evidence working at pace, achieving high standards of work and good understanding of cost control.
* Knowledge of FM and Health & Safety with a good understanding of how a facilities team works and functions.
* Good understanding of all Microsoft Office and Administration.
