Role Overview: The Workshop Administrator will assist in managing workshop operations for our Market Harborough and Sevenoaks, Kent locations (remote). You will work closely with the Service Controller, Service Administrator, and Senior Service Engineer to ensure smooth workshop operations, coordinate repairs, and provide exceptional customer service. Full training will be provided.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Manage workshop repairs: book and assign repairs to Service Engineers based on expertise and availability.
2. Coordinate inventory: work with the parts department to ensure necessary parts are stocked.
3. Maintain records: keep detailed service folders and update CRM systems.
4. Customer communication: interact professionally and courteously with customers.
5. Estimate repairs & invoicing: collaborate on repair estimates, advise customers, and invoice jobs.
6. Manage supplier relationships: liaise with third-party suppliers.
7. Lead team meetings: conduct weekly workshop meetings to meet goals.
8. Ensure safety and organization: maintain a clean, compliant workshop environment.
9. Stay updated: keep abreast of industry trends, tools, and technologies.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Experience in a similar role or workshop environment is preferred but not essential.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office; CRM knowledge is a plus.
* Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
* Excellent communication skills (phone, email, interpersonal).
* Problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
* Team-oriented with a customer service focus.
* Positive attitude and proactive approach.
