About The Role:
The Crowd have partnered with a highly acclaimed, international design practice that that are seeking an experienced Associate Architect to join the cultural/heritage arm of their London studio.
This is an incredible opportunity for someone with extensive experience overseeing projects that involve culturally significant buildings worldwide. Within this role, you will act as the primary liaison between clients and the studio’s external partners, while also playing a pivotal part in coordinating the internal team. With an emphasis on projects that aim to leave a lasting cultural legacy, it is essential that your experience is deeply rooted in cultural initiatives, accompanied by a sincere passion for this field. In addition to overseeing projects, this role offers the chance to influence business growth, guide studio leadership, and shape overall strategic direction.

Key Responsibilities:
* Driving the development of project proposals and bid submissions, ensuring a compelling and strategic approach
* Overseeing the seamless coordination of internal teams and external collaborators to deliver successful outcomes
* Ensuring projects are completed to an exceptional standard, meeting deadlines and staying within budget constraints
* Leading, contributing to, and reviewing the production of design and technical documents, including reports, drawings, and visual presentations
* Spearheading and supporting projects focused on conservation, restoration, adaptive reuse, and sensitive alterations to culturally significant buildings
* Cultivating and nurturing relationships with both long-standing and new clients within the cultural sector
Key Skills/Requirements:
* ARB or RIBA qualification
* Minimum of 8 years post-qualification experience
* Experience within the cultural / heritage sector is a must
* Proven ability to manage small to medium-sized teams
* Demonstrated excellence in both design and technical aspects
* Experience with Revit is advantageous
* Experience managing project finances with commercial awareness
* Keen eye for detail
* Strong verbal and written communication abilities
* Organised, proactive and enthusiastic approach to work and projects
