Job Purpose
You will help the company deliver a high quality customer experience by providing superior levels of support to clients contacting our Technical Advice Centre by phone, in writing (letters & emails) and on social media platforms. This could include providing product advice, resolving customer issues and much more.
Job Responsibilities
1. Provide our customers with expert technical advice on all AkzoNobel decorative brands & products.
2. Handle & resolve customer complaints & turn them into opportunities.
3. Agree & negotiate settlements that are satisfactory to the customer & appropriate to the business.
4. Publicise websites to customers to increase web usage.
5. Follow Company processes & procedures & meet KPI’s.
6. Update & maintain records.
7. Promote our products & services to maximise sales.
Job Requirements
1. GCSE’s in Math’s & English or equivalent - Grade C or above / Equivalent NVQ.
2. Experience in a customer service telephone based environment.
3. Knowledge of IT applications – Microsoft Office Suite (Access, Excel).
4. Excellent administration experience.
5. Strong communication, organisational & interpersonal skills.
