Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow. Your leadership skills will be essential in managing daily activities and ensuring the well-being of all children in your care.
Responsibilities
1. Provide high-quality care and education for children aged 0-4 years in a nursery setting.
2. Develop and implement engaging learning activities that promote children's physical, emotional, social, and intellectual development.
3. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster positive relationships.
4. Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records to support their development.
5. Manage daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and play activities, ensuring a structured environment.
6. Drive initiatives that enhance the nursery's educational programmes and overall quality of care.
7. Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive team environment focused on the best outcomes for children.
Requirements
1. Previous experience in childcare or early childhood education is essential.
2. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
3. Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience managing teams or groups of children.
4. A genuine passion for working with young children and understanding their developmental needs.
5. Relevant qualifications in early childhood education or childcare are desirable but not mandatory.
6. Ability to drive initiatives that contribute to the nursery's success and improvement.

Pay: £11,897.00-£25,584.00 per year
