Regional Director
You don’t need to be a lobbyist to influence foreign policy. As a Regional Director, you’ll serve as a Borgen Project Ambassador in your city—mobilizing friends, family, and colleagues to contact their government in support of key poverty reduction legislation.
Key Responsibilities
1. Meet with local government leaders and lobby for legislation that improves living conditions for the world’s poor.
2. Mobilize community members to contact their government leaders supporting poverty reduction legislation.
3. Manage and implement fundraising campaigns.
4. Build a network of engaged supporters.
5. Serve as The Borgen Project’s ambassador in your city.
Qualifications
1. Basic understanding of politics and international development.
2. Highly organized with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently.
3. Strong team player who brings new ideas.
4. Ability to exercise independent judgment and decisiveness.
5. Excellent communication skills—oral, written, and presentation.

Unpaid.

6 months.
Hours
4-6 hours per week.
