We are looking to appoint a calm, caring and supportive Learning Support Assistant to support a Year 5 10 year old young man access schooling more easily. Do you think you can support learning in the classroom or move to one to one support if the classroom is too overwhelming? The role is five daya per week, 22.5 hours, term time only (8.30am to 1.00pm) and will include break and lunch time duties.The salary will be H2 or H3 depending on qualifications and experience. This is a fixed term position linked to the child who will be at the school until July 2026, but the position could be extended should funding be secured for another child. We are advertising the role till 1pm but fulltime til 330pm can be considered. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with children, shows confidence, understanding and has the ability to remain calm at all times. The role will include working on a 1:1 basis with children with additional needs, with small groups of children as well as to provide general classroom support and will include a daily lunch duty. We are a positive and well-motivated team and the children are at the heart of all we do. You must be passionate about enabling children to achieve their true potential.
