Top 3 Skills Required: Highways Experience : Preferably focused on roads; however, broader highways experience is acceptable.
Electrical Expertise : Experience in streetlighting, CCTV, or motorway communications is highly desirable.
Technical Construction Knowledge : Understanding of civil engineering principles, construction methodologies, and the ability to interpret designs and raise technical queries.
Key Responsibilities: Design Review & Queries : Analyse designs and liaise with design teams to raise and resolve technical queries.
Site Records : Ensure the team maintains accurate and detailed records of all on-site activities.
Plant & Material Management : Manage requisitions for plant and materials, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Quality Assurance : Capture, store, and maintain quality records and promptly address any non-conformance records (NCRs).
Qualifications and Experience: Educational Background : Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Alternatively, an HND in Civil Engineering with vocational training in engineering.
Professional Development : Working towards or holding a Professional Industry Qualification.
Health & Safety : Formal training in Health & Safety and Environmental Management (e.g., SMSTS certification).
Possession of a valid CSCS Card .
Licencing : Full UK driving licence is mandatory.
