What will I be doing?
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering valuations that adhere to RICS Redbook standards for a variety of renewable energy technologies within the UK market, including freehold and operational interests as well as projects at various stages from inception to repowering. You will benefit from the established expertise of a team that has provided valuations for energy projects for over a decade, serving retained clients with operational portfolios, loan security work, and collaborating with other teams on cross-sector projects, particularly with rural and commercial property valuers. There will also be an opportunity for you to contribute to the growth of the valuation service line while engaging in lease negotiations and supporting transactions.
What do I need?
We are looking for candidates with proven experience in valuations who are currently RICS registered valuers or can become one (Level 3 in Valuations at APC). A minimum of three years of relevant experience is preferred, as is direct experience in the valuation of renewable energy assets. However, those with experience in Rural or Commercial Property valuations will be considered. You will be expected to take charge of valuation delivery, reporting directly to the service line lead and so the ability to work under your own initiative is imperative, though you will have the support of a highly skilled team specialising in the commercial and technical assessment of renewable energy schemes.
Who for?
Our client is a reputable name in the energy consultancy sector, with an Energy Team consisting of around 20 professionals. The team focuses on three key areas: Capital Advisory, which this role will sit within; Consultancy, providing guidance on the feasibility, development, and installation of renewable solutions; and Development, dedicated to securing and negotiating land rights.
