Mechanical/Maintenance Fitter
Location: Coleshill
Salary: Dependant on Experience
Type: Permanent Late Shift - Monday to Thursday (2pm-10:15pm) and Friday (12pm-6pm)
My client supplies £0.5bn worth of technology solutions, products, and services to clients across various market sectors including electrification, robotics, automation, and motion.
They are looking for a Mechanical/Maintenance Fitter to maintain and preserve the efficiency of all equipment, production lines, and facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Defining maintenance plans for new/existing production lines and facilities, improving reliability, maintainability, and safety.
2. Fault finding and solving issues on equipment to achieve maximum performance.
3. Proposing and implementing improvement projects for optimizing machine operation and energy efficiency.
4. Completing/implementing TPM, PPM, and routine maintenance schedules for machines.
5. Responding to time-critical breakdowns and minimizing disruption to production.
Qualifications & Experience:
1. Time served/Qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
2. Knowledge of maintenance activities using CMMS systems and data analysis.
3. Working knowledge of Microsoft packages such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
4. Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings.
5. Good communication skills at all levels.
6. Manufacturing background, ideally in conduit production machinery.
7. Machining experience using tooling such as lathes, milling, grinding, drilling, and welding.
8. Understanding of conduit system products.
